CLP with top rankings in the yearly election of lawyers in Norway

Finansavisen/Kapital has presented the yearly ranking of lawyers in Norway today, and CLP is happy to receive the following rankings for 2023

  • CLP is as a firm ranked as no. 1 in the retail/trade category for the fourth consecutive year, and partner Kjetil Vågen is for the seventh time in a row individually ranked as no. 1 in the retail/trade category. Vågen represents a large number of Norwegian, Nordic and international chains within various service and product sectors, with a strong position within the retail category. With him joins our associate partner Hans Jørgen Langeland, he is ranked as no. 5. Langeland has extensive experience with trade law structures such as franchise, JVs, supply-, distribution- and agency agreements. With this, CLP maintains its long-standing strength in this category.
  • Lars Gunnar Aas is ranked as no. 4 in the M&A category and makes his debut as no. 9 in the popular competitors’ most sought after category. Aas specializes in M&A and private equity, and his extensive experience covers a wide range of international and domestic transactions, strategic investments and cooperation between shareholders, where he represents corporates, private equity/venture capital funds and other financial sponsors and investors.
  • Partner Hanne Heltne is ranked as no. 7 in the IPR category. Heltne has substantial experience within technology and intellectual property law, with main focus on technology, software, IPR and marketing law.
  • Partners Håvard R.Skogvoll and Elin Mack Løvdal is ranked as no. 4 and 5 in the real estate category, displaying great strength for CLP in this category. Skogvoll works mainly with real estate transactions, financing, operation and development. Mack Løvdal’s main focus and expertise is relating to real estate; transactions, development, leases, asset management, corporate law, financing and investment structuring
  • Partner Amund Berthelsen Erdal is ranked as no. 6 in the renewable energy category. Amund focuses on renewable energy, and assists in acquisitions and mergers within the renewable sector and matters relating to energy law, water resources law and concessions.
  • Partner Andreas Kildal is ranked as no. 10 in the issuances and IPOs category. Kildal has been advising Norwegian and international companies for several years on mergers and acquisitions, sales and restructurings of listed and unlisted companies. In addition, we are very proud that Joakim Gjerde has entered the up-and-coming list, as no 5.
