New Managing Partner in CLP

CLP has appointed Lars Gunnar Aas as its new Managing Partner. Lars has been a partner at CLP since 2008, and will in addition to the new role continue his client work. He specializes in M&A and private equity, and has extensive experience in a wide range of international and domestic transactions, strategic investments and cooperation between shareholders, where he represents corporates, private equity/venture capital funds and other financial sponsors and investors.

Lars commented:

I look forward to leading my highly competent colleagues and take an active role in the further development of CLP. I know the firm well since I have been a partner here almost since the firm was established, and the last year had the role as Chairman, and I am excited about the new tasks at hand in addition to continuing my own practice. It does indeed simplify my job that CLP is a well-run organisation with owners who have a clear common view on our values, development of the firm and its role in the wider society. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my predecessor Fred Arthur Andersen for the substantial and important efforts he has committed over years in order to take CLP to where we are today, well-positioned for the road ahead.
