CLP with top results in the annual ranking of lawyers in Norway

Finansavisen/Kapital has presented the yearly ranking of lawyers in Norway today, and CLP is happy to receive the following rankings for 2024
•CLP has once again been ranked as no. 1 in the trade and industry category—for the fifth consecutive year! Additionally, our partner Kjetil Vågen has been individually ranked as no. 1 in the same category for the eighth year in a row. Vågen represents a wide range of Norwegian, Nordic, and international chains across various service and product sectors and holds a strong position within retail. He is joined by our partner Hans Jørgen Langeland, who is ranked as no. 2. Langeland has extensive experience with trade law structures, including franchise, joint ventures, supply, distribution, and agency agreements. With these recognitions, CLP continues to solidify its long-standing top tier position in the trade and industry category.
•Partner Håvard R. Skogvoll is ranked no. 3 in the real estate category, further highlighting CLP’s strong position in this field. Skogvoll primarily focuses on real estate transactions, financing, operations, and development.
•Rolf W. Markussen, one of Norway's leading construction and real estate lawyers, is ranked no. 3 in the construction category. Markussen joined the firm as a partner in January 2025 and positions CLP as one of Norway's leading providers in construction law.
•Lars Gunnar Aas is once again ranked no. 4 in the M&A category. Aas specializes in M&A and private equity, bringing extensive experience across a wide range of international and domestic transactions, strategic investments, and shareholder collaborations. He is joined by our partner Jakob Villum, who is ranked as no. 9. Jakob has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as from private equity fund formations, and is also regularly involved in other capital markets transactions, securities law and IT contracts.
