CLP advised eSmart Systems in its NOK 300 million private placement

CLP acted as legal advisor to eSmart System AS in its NOK 300 million private placement, with Tilt Capital as lead investor in the round. Existing major shareholders Arosa Capital, Energy Impact Partners, Equinor Ventures, Nysnø Climate Investments, Future Energy Ventures and Kongsberg Group also participated in the capital raise, which in addition to the private placement included conversion of existing convertible loans.

eSmart Systems is a leading provider of AI-powered solutions for the inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure. The capital raise will position eSmart Systems to capture significant market opportunities and drive innovation in AI-based solutions for critical energy infrastructure. With the introduction of Quanta Services as a strategic investor, the plan is also for the two companies to collaborate on virtual inspection and grid digitalization services in the North American market.
