Kyrre Eggen is an expert on litigation and dispute resolution, and is acknowledged as a leading litigator in Norway. Kyrre Eggen represented Danske Bank before the Supreme Court in a case concerning the validity of two swaption agreements entered into with Bremanger municipality. The matter is a matter of principle and raises the issue of whether identification rules under private law apply when municipalities enter into agreements under private law. The amount of dispute was approximately NOK 120 million and Danske Bank was victoriose in the Supreme Court.
