CLP has had a role in most of the major renewable energy transactions in Norway in recent years. We act as adviser to some of the leading Scandinavian utilities, as well as suppliers, technology developers and financial investors within the sector.
We assist parties within the energy sector with investments, acquisitions, sales, restructurings and financing, and the development and operation of their projects. CLP has extensive experience with advising our clients in relation to the regulatory framework, including matters relating to concessions, energy law and water resources law, as well as physical and financial contracts regarding electricity, guarantees of origin and electricity certificates.
